From Loom to Logo: How Our Turkish Textiles Are Made
Share
At Riviera Gift, we don’t just decorate promotional products — we develop them from the ground up. Our Turkish towels and woven textiles are made using centuries-old techniques, modern looms, and ethical cotton sourcing that sets us apart in the promotional products industry.
Step 1: Long-Staple Turkish Cotton
Our process starts with long-staple cotton grown in the Aegean region. It’s naturally softer, stronger, and more absorbent than ordinary cotton, making it ideal for high-end towels and throws.
Step 2: Woven on Traditional Looms
Turkish towels (or pestemals) are flat-woven on shuttle looms in small family-run mills. For jacquard and knit blankets, we use circular knitting or computerized jacquard looms for precise patterns and smooth finishes.

Step 3: Customization & Decoration
- Jacquard Weaving: Logo becomes part of the fabric RT089
- Embroidery: Adds texture and elegance
- Printing: Ideal for colorful, vibrant designs

Step 4: Finishing Touches
Each textile is inspected, pressed, folded, and packed with care. You can add:
- Custom hang tags
- Woven labels
- Branded belly bands or sleeves
